Many of our patients share common issues when seeking medical treatment. Here you can find some frequently asked questions and answers that might help you during your treatment process. I don’t have a referral, can I still be treated at PSC?


Although we do not require a referral for you to see one of our physicians, your insurance carrier may. Please check with your insurance regarding their requirements prior to requesting an appointment. For a referral, please contact your primary care physician.

How much will my procedure/surgery cost?


For surgeries or procedures, it’s difficult to know the exact costs in advance because no one knows exactly what services you’ll need. In addition, you may have a deductible, copay, or coinsurance that will affect the amount you will need to pay for your surgery/procedure.

On your behalf, our benefits coordinator will contact your insurance carrier to determine what benefits you have and the estimated cost. She will then contact you to discuss your benefits and answer any questions you may have. Payment for your estimated responsibility is due 3 days prior to your surgery or procedure.​ We are committed to doing our best to help you understand your benefits and the cost to you.

How can I access my medical records?


Copies of your medical records can be obtained by contacting your physician’s office. You can also access your medical records through MyChart.multicare.org . If this is your first time to access MyChart you will need to create an account. Click here to signup.

Does the facility have an elevator?


Our building does not have an elevator. For our patients that may have problems with stairs, the 4th street entrance allows direct access to the second floor where our offices are located. Additional parking can also be located on 4th street.

How long will it take to have my prescription filled?


Please contact your pharmacy directly for refills. Allow 48 hours for refills to be processed.

What insurance plans do you accept?


We accept many different insurance plans. Please click the link below to view a current list of accepted insurances. If you don’t see your insurance carrier listed, please contact our billing office to determine if we accept your insurance plan. The billing department can be reached at 253-445-1844.

Where can I pay my bill?


You can pay your bill online at www.proliancesurgeons.com/billpay. You can also pay your bill by calling our billing department at (253) 445-1844 or in person at our clinic.

Who do I contact for billing issues?

Why did Puyallup Surgical Consultants Change Their Name?


For years, we’ve been part of Proliance Surgeons, and now it shows. Puyallup Surgical Consultants changed its name to Proliance Puyallup Surgeons to demonstrate the depth of our specialty care network. Proliance Surgeons is an organization of locally-owned, specialty care centers with over 400 multi-disciplinary physicians.

Will I Experience Any Changes to My Care?


Only our name has changed. As a Proliance Puyallup Surgeons patient you will receive the same great care, from the same established medical experts, at the same convenient Puyallup care center location. We're proud to continue the tradition of exceptional outcomes, personally delivered.
